Thanks Baptist Men

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the North Carolina Baptist Men for their support of the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services' hay relief efforts this past year. The association's contributions helped us assist livestock owners with the cost of transporting hay to their farms during the drought.

The past year has been a trying time for out state's agricultural industry.

Contributions by the Baptist Men and other thoughtful organizations clearly have made a difference in helping our farmers and ranchers feed their animals and continue farming.

I want the readers of the Biblical Recorder to know how much I appreciate the work of the North Carolina Baptist Men, and how much of an asset they are to our state, our agricultural industry and our citizens. The members clearly are serving in Christ's spirit.

Steven. W. Troxler

N.C. Agricultural Commissioner
