Recorder offices closed summer Fridays

Biblical Recorder staff are working a four-day week July and August, taking Fridays off to save utilities and commuting expenses. Office hours during this period will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. although it is not uncommon for staff to be there earlier and later.

The Recorder offices will also be closed July 3 and 4 for the holiday.

To contact the Recorder, send an e-mail to editor@biblicalrecorder.org.

"A four day week is one of the tools being utilized by many other companies to pare expenses, both for the company and for employees," said Editor Norman Jameson. "We are planning this schedule only for July and August, a period that slows down not just in Baptist news but for life in general."
